Insight Global is seeking a Building Engineer to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities, systems, and grounds at a Maryland site. The role involves troubleshooting RTUs, electrical, plumbing, and elevator systems, and coordinating with technicians and contractors as needed.

The position requires hands-on maintenance experience, comfort with work-order management tools, and the ability to work independently on smaller sites while collaborating on larger ones.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Building Engineer / Building Maintenance Technician
• Hands-on experience with RTUs, electrical systems, plumbing, and elevators
• Strong troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience
• Comfort using a building operating system / work order management tools
• Ability to work independently at a smaller site and collaboratively at a larger site

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds
• Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation within design specs
• Perform assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance; complete maintenance records
• Lead troubleshoot and repair of buildings and installed systems (plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, HVAC)
• May direct technicians and outside contractors on projects
• Maintain energy management program to minimize operating costs
• Maintain lighting systems, including repairs/replacements
