Job summary

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressive engineering experience.
• One (1) year leading skills.
• Practical experience in stationary engineering, generators, HVAC and plumbing.
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values in service delivery.
• Ensures engineering staff complete work orders and preventive maintenance safely and timely.
• Tours hospital areas to observe engineering staff adherence to policies.
• Reviews daily time records and produces reports on production and costs.
• Coordinates with customers to minimize disruptions to hospital services.
• Performs routine inspections of work performed and maintains safety standards.
• Develops staff performance through formal reviews and training guidance.
• Reads and interprets design drawings and specifications; collaborates with vendors.
