Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to support design-build projects in Fresno, CA.

You will review engineered HVAC solutions, coordinate with PMs and sales, and oversee external engineering resources to ensure high-quality designs. The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, PE license, and 10+ years of HVAC design experience, with knowledge of central chilled water plants and energy efficiency standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering license required.
• 10+ years of HVAC design/construction experience.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD MEP or Revit.
• Knowledge of OSHPD/HCAI codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops engineering scope of work and equipment selections.
• Mechanical designs for central chiller plants and air handling units.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare preliminary design layouts for estimating.
• Review and quality check outsourced engineering resources.
• Perform load calculations and Title 24 compliance calculations.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations.
• Develop technical and cost proposals.
