Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., seeks a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to HVAC design, load calculations, and energy-efficiency projects. The position requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of HVAC design experience, with CEM/EIT preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP or Revit is advantageous for project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years HVAC design experience.
• CEM or EIT highly preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHPD codes a plus.
• Experience with Energy-Pro and eQuest is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with HVAC system types and their applications.
• HVAC system selection, sizing and design (ductwork and piping).
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations and Title 24 compliance calculations using Energy-Pro and eQuest.
• Write technical proposals and reports.
• Coordinate with project teams and manage multiple deadlines.
