Job summary

LONG Building Technologies in Casper, WY seeks a Controls Service Technician III to support commercial HVAC control systems, fault detection and diagnostics, and task management.

You will mentor junior technicians, analyze faults, tune setpoints, and lead system-wide troubleshooting to optimize performance and energy efficiency while coordinating with service supervisors and sales teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DDC/BAS control system construction or service experience.
• Experience with commercial HVAC control systems installation and commissioning.
• Ability to read control diagrams and engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize FDD platform to evaluate faults and improve energy efficiency.
• Diagnose, tune, and optimize sequences of operation (SoO).
• Program setpoints and calibrate control systems per LONG standards.
• Instruct client personnel on operation and maintenance of HVAC controls.
• Create dashboards and visuals for clients and analytical teams.
• Provide proactive recommendations for system improvements.
