LONG Building Technologies in Cheyenne, WY seeks a Controls Service Technician II to troubleshoot and program temperature control systems, perform emergency and preventative maintenance, and support our FDD-based service offerings. This role includes mentoring junior technicians and providing guidance on system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in computer/electronic technical or related field required.
• 1 year of temperature control start-up, checkout and service experience OR 3-5 years equivalent.
• Proficient knowledge of HVAC and building automation concepts.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect control systems for damage, wear, and degradation.
• Perform preventative maintenance and software updates to minimize failures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues with customers.
• Educate users on operation and upkeep of control systems.
• Create pricing and quotes for small projects.
• Coordinate with technicians and supervisors on-site.
