Job summary

First Hospitality seeks an experienced Service Technician for a high-rise hotel environment. You will diagnose and repair HVAC systems, read electrical/mechanical drawings, and ensure safe, efficient operation across central plants, air handlers, and chillers.

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating resolutions, maintaining professional communication, and upholding OSHA safety standards while working independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years relevant HVAC field experience.
• Must understand safety and OSHA requirements.
• Must be capable of reading and understanding mechanical/electrical plans and schematics.
• Universal EPA Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of equipment capabilities and operations (central plants, air handlers, heat pumps, pumps, VFDs).
• Troubleshoot electrical, control and mechanical failures and problems.
• Stay current on industry trends and changes.
• Plan, organize, coordinate and execute problem resolutions.
• Read and interpret mechanical/electrical plans and schematics.
