Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Reno, NV is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to oversee the operation of building systems and lead the engineering team. The role requires a minimum of five years of hands-on HVAC experience and expertise with boilers, chillers, and exhaust fans.

You will manage engineers and maintenance staff, develop preventive and reactive maintenance plans, and participate in budgeting while ensuring safety and reliability of critical systems on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in building maintenance or engineering.
• Experience leading a team of engineers/maintenance staff.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders up to 30 ft.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering team(s) through senior engineers.
• Oversee maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems.
• Supervise and manage engineers and maintenance staff including hiring, training, coaching and development.
• Create and update a preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance plan.
• Manage engineering budgets and contribute to operating budget process.
• Supervise contractors and document performance.
• Respond to emergencies and service calls.
