Job summary
AAON, Inc. is seeking an experienced applications engineer to lead the technical evaluation and application of HVAC systems for complex customer projects.
You will analyze customer specifications, develop optimized solutions, and provide advanced engineering guidance for custom configurations. In this role, you will independently manage large projects from concept through delivery, serve as a primary technical resource for escalations, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years in applications engineering, sales engineering, or related technical field.
- Equivalent education/experience acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Lead evaluation and application of HVAC systems for complex projects.
- Analyze customer specifications to develop optimized solutions.
- Provide advanced engineering guidance for custom configurations.
- Independently manage large/complex application projects from concept through delivery.
- Serve as primary technical resource for escalations and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to meet performance, cost, and production requirements.
- Support sales with technical presentations and customer interactions.
- Review technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Contribute insights from customer feedback to product development.
