WSP USA seeks a High Voltage Transmission Inspector to support field inspections in Columbus, OH, with travel across surrounding states. The role involves evaluating concrete placement, underground pipelines, earthwork, and electrical installations, while ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and codes.

You will generate precise documentation and advise on inspection progress and risk. Responsibilities include using survey tools, verifying load calculations, and coordinating with project teams.

Competenze

• Minimum of 9 years of relevant post-education experience in construction inspection.
• Essential professional licensure/certification(s).
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Knowledge of construction inspection principles, field practices, and codes.

• Collect, compile, and analyze data from field inspections, plans, blueprints, and reports.
• Use survey instruments and test equipment to verify site conditions and conformance with plans.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing inspection findings with photos, calculations, and drawings.

• Attend pre-construction meetings and respond to contractor questions with clarity.
