RMS Energy Co, LLC is seeking Field Service Technicians with strong testing and troubleshooting experience for challenging fieldwork across the continental U.S. This role involves maintaining low to high-voltage systems across power plants and industrial sites.

You will be responsible for performing tests, troubleshooting control circuits, and mentoring junior technicians. The role requires a high school diploma and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of field experience with power systems testing, maintaining and commissioning.
• Experience with megohmmeters, TTRs, and contact resistance testers.
• Familiarity with PowerDB or similar documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Test and maintain low, medium, and high voltage systems at various locations.
• Perform field tests and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with customers during on-site jobs.

Skills

Testing and troubleshooting experience

Knowledge of power systems

Safety standards understanding (NFPA 70E, OSHA)

Ability to read schematics

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Education

High school diploma or GED

NETA Level II certification or pursuit

Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Technology or related field
