Job summary

Florida Power & Light Company is seeking an Engineering Leader to direct the engineering and execution of complex high-voltage substation projects, serving as technical lead from scoping through construction and commissioning.

You will coordinate with external EORs, suppliers, and internal teams across engineering, procurement, and operations, mentor engineers, and help develop estimates, schedules, and contracting strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering with ABET accreditation.
• 6+ years post-Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 2+ years supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead project engineers in basic, unique and complex projects.
• Provide training and development for engineering personnel.
• Lead team assignments and provide direction to others as required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
