Job summary

JLL seeks an experienced Senior High Voltage Electrical Engineer to lead design and engineering of critical electrical infrastructure for hyperscale data centers and mission-critical facilities. You will guide system architectures, utility coordination, and engineering oversight from concept through commissioning.

The role requires deep MV/HV expertise, substation design, and generation integration, with leadership in technical standards and client engagement across large-scale campuses.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–12 years of progressive electrical engineering experience focusing on high voltage power systems and substation design.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure in multiple states.
• Experience leading utility coordination and interconnection for large power users.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of high voltage systems for hyperscale data centers (MV and HV).
• Develop substations, protection schemes, and campus distribution layouts.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and transient analyses.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.
• Coordinate with utilities on interconnection and capacity planning.
