Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior High Voltage Electrical Engineer to design and lead electrical infrastructure for hyperscale data centers and mission-critical facilities in the United States. You will guide system architecture, utility coordination, and commissioning with deep HV/MV expertise and experience in substations, on-site generation, and renewable integration.

You will provide technical leadership, lead complex design reviews and field support during construction, and collaborate with clients

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program is required.
8-12 years of progressive electrical engineering experience focused on high voltage systems.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing or ability to obtain licensure in multiple states.
Deep expertise in medium and high voltage electrical design for data centers.
Experience with renewables, HV/MV distribution, and utility interconnection processes.

Responsibilities

Lead design of high voltage systems for hyperscale data centers (MV 4.16kV-35kV; HV 69kV-230kV).
Develop electrical system architectures for reliability, redundancy, and scalability.
Lead utility interconnection strategy and coordination with multiple providers.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Oversee design reviews, commissioning plans, and field support during construction.
