Job summary

The ideal candidate will lead HV battery design efforts, drive problem solving, and ensure production readiness with ISO-compliant processes. Responsibilities include solving complex HV battery issues, performing root cause analysis, developing DFMEA/DVP&R, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across manufacturing and engineering.
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or Automotive Engineering with 8+ automotive experience.
- 5+ years of related experience preferred.
- Experience in data analysis using statistics tools.
- Experience with HV Battery subsystems and fault troubleshooting.
- Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, PFMEA, Control Plan, RCA with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and documentation using Atlassian products.
Responsibilities
- Solve complex HV Battery system problems.
- Perform root cause analysis and proactive problem solving.
- Develop processes for laser welding and quality verification.
- Establish technical depth to troubleshoot HV Battery test issues.
- Provide DFMEA and serviceability input in development.
- Guide build process development for high-volume lines.
- Lead product change management with cross-functional teams.
