Responsibilities

• Own canonical hierarchical control stack including VLM/VLA systems and visuomotor policies.
• Drive co-optimization of large VLA/world models with compute silicon.
• Perform first-principles sizing of FLOPs, TOPS, and memory-bandwidth floors.
• Lead architecture reviews across ML research, controls, electrical, firmware, and mechanical teams.
• Mentor senior engineers in system-level thinking and hardware barriers.
