Job summary

K L Masters Construction Company in New Jersey is seeking an HR Manager to lead all HR functions for a 120-140 non-union workforce. You will manage recruitment from candidate identification through onboarding, and collaborate with senior management across projects.

Not remote; you will develop and implement performance management programs, establish a multi-state recruitment strategy, build an internship program, and handle new hire paperwork for field and office staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HR management experience.
• Recruitment agency experience a plus.
• Construction/Real Estate/Civil Engineering recruitment experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, computer savvy and email proficiency.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of senior management, this position will interact with all levels of the company and respond to all HR needs across the organization. This includes the entire life cycle of an employee from identifying great candidates to onboarding. This position will be responsible for approximately 120-140 employees non-union work force. This position is not remote/work from home.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Recruitment across all levels of positions including Field staff and office positions.
• Interact with outside agencies as needed.
• Create new and engaging performance management programs with senior staff.
• In conjunction with senior staff, develop an overall recruitment strategy and implement it across multiple projects in three states.
• Develop and maintain intern program.
• Successfully source and hire field and office staff and manage new hire paperwork.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

5+ Year HR Management experience .Recruitment agency experience a plus. Construction, Real Estate or Civil Engineering recruitment a plus

Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in a relevant field of study.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written, as well as computer savvy and email expertise.
