Job description

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Human Resources Professional for a Remote Position in Minneapolis.

Position Title : Senior Human Resources Professional

Location : Remote / Hybrid Position

Anticipated Start Date : [04 / 20 / 2025]

Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.

Expected Contract Duration : 5 MONTHS

Job Type : Contract

Pay Range : $45-$55 / hr.

Note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and responsibilities. This range does not include additional benefits or non-standard compensation such as paid time off or per diem.

Job Description

Understand the business, talent, and organizational strategies of internal clients to advise HR Business Partners, Talent Partners, and business leaders globally on a wide range of compensation and benefits topics.

  • Consult with HR leaders on:

o Compensation philosophy, programs, and processes

o Benefits philosophy, frameworks, and processes

o External marketplace trends and competitive practices

o Opportunities to enhance competitiveness through networking with external rewards professionals

o Support to achieve business objectives

  • Manage compensation programs, processes, and analysis for aligned business groups:

o Job evaluations and survey matching

o Lead annual performance and rewards processes and competitive reviews

o Deploy program changes in collaboration with program owners

o Partner with analytics teams for reporting

o Conduct regulatory analyses such as FLSA

o Guide complex internal job offers with Talent Solutions

o Contribute to global reward program design and reporting

  • Oversee global benefit programs:

o Maintain inventory of country-specific benefit offerings

o Support benefit program analysis outside US and Canada

o Collaborate with local HR teams on benefit cost validation

  • Lead project management for assigned initiatives:

o Develop work plans, coordinate teams, prioritize tasks, and mitigate risks

o Collaborate across HR functions for program implementation and issue resolution

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years relevant experience in compensation and benefits
  • Strong business acumen and experience with salary structures and job evaluations
  • Deep understanding of international compensation practices
  • Knowledge of compensation delivery principles for base pay and incentives
  • Advanced quantitative analysis skills, proficiency in Excel and databases
  • Excellent client relationship and presentation skills
  • Process management and improvement skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in compensation principles, program design, and implementation
  • Experience benchmarking international compensation and benefits
  • Experience supporting multiple client groups and managing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
