Job Summary

As a Senior HR Manager, you will support various Human Resource functions to meet strategic, tactical, and administrative objectives. Effective communication with senior management and support departments is essential. Your expertise in employee relations and analytical skills will support HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure consistent application of all HR policies.
  2. Coach associates and management through complex issues; guide disciplinary actions; assist with investigations.
  3. Oversee hourly recruitment and onboarding via MyOpportunity.
  4. Maintain and coordinate associate recognition programs.
  5. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
  6. Review HR activity reports regularly.
  7. Support survey and engagement feedback processes.
  8. Increase HR visibility through meetings, training, and initiatives.
  9. Review pay and status change requests for internal equity; process forms.
  10. Prepare and deliver HR-related training and presentations.
  11. Lead diversity initiatives, including recruiting, retention, and promotion goals.
  12. Assist in creating Personal Development Plans for associates.
  13. Participate in the annual performance appraisal process.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required; Master’s preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred.
  • At least three years of HR generalist experience; management experience is a plus.
  • Experience in large, multi-unit organizations and centralized HR environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; advanced skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment law, policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Strong problem-solving, data collection, and analytical skills.
  • Experience handling inquiries and complaints from various stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation skills; training certification is a plus.
