Job Overview

Our client is seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Human Resources Manager in Shelton, CT. This role involves being a true business partner, cultural champion, and trusted advisor to our teams. Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Partnership: Advising leaders on organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and workforce planning. Coaching leaders on team engagement, communication, development, and feedback. Supporting change management initiatives.
  2. Talent Management: Leading talent acquisition, onboarding, development, retention, and succession planning. Managing performance systems aligned with company goals.
  3. Culture & Connection: Collaborating with marketing and HR teams to communicate values and strategies. Promoting an inclusive, engaged, and high-performance culture.
  4. Employee Relations: Addressing employee concerns empathetically, conducting investigations, and ensuring fair resolutions in compliance with policies.
  5. Compliance & Integrity: Ensuring policies align with labor laws, educating leaders, and fostering fairness and equity.
  6. Data-Driven Decisions: Analyzing HR data to inform strategies, and presenting insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  2. 5-7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years as a strategic HR Business Partner.
  3. Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and organizational development.
  4. Proven ability to build partnerships and lead change confidently.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Data-savvy with an analytical mindset.
  7. Willingness to travel up to 25–30% domestically.
