Job summary

Cascades is seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager in Pryor, Oklahoma to lead labor relations and people initiatives in a unionized manufacturing environment that values collaboration and trust.

You’ll partner with plant leadership and union leadership to drive talent management, engagement, and change programs across 24/7 operations, while coaching a three-person HR team and ensuring compliance, payroll accuracy, and effective HR services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience within the industrial sector.
• Strong labor relations expertise in a unionized workplace, including grievance management, contract administration, investigations, arbitration preparation, and union partnership.
• Experience partnering with plant leadership teams and senior business leaders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to influence and build credibility with employees, leaders, and union representatives at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using HR metrics to support decision-making.
• Occasional travel across the United States and Canada may be required.

Responsibilities

• Foster positive employee relations through coaching, conflict resolution, employee engagement initiatives, and culture-building programs.
• Drive talent management, workforce planning, recruitment support, and employee development for hourly and salaried employees in 24/7 manufacturing.
• Manage and develop a team of three HR professionals while ensuring consistent delivery of HR programs and retention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, HR processes, employee records requirements, and wellness programs.
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.
• Support organizational change initiatives through clear communication, stakeholder partnership, and employee advocacy.
• Represent Cascades Tissue Group at corporate and community events.

As Senior HR Manager, you’ll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential. Your scope includes:

What you bring

You're a natural fit for Senior HR Manager if you have:
