Job summary

Cascades Tissue Group in Pryor, Oklahoma seeks an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead labor relations in a unionized manufacturing environment. You will be the primary HR partner to union leadership on grievances, investigations, discipline, and arbitration, while fostering positive employee relations and culture-building programs.

You will drive talent management, workforce planning, and development for both hourly and salaried staff in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience within the industrial sector.
• Strong labor relations expertise in a unionized workplace, including grievance management, contract administration, investigations, arbitration preparation, and union partnership.
• Experience partnering with plant leadership teams and senior business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead labor relations activities and serve as the primary HR partner to union leadership for grievances, investigations, discipline, and arbitration matters.
• Foster positive employee relations through coaching, conflict resolution, employee engagement initiatives, and culture-building programs.
• Drive talent management, workforce planning, recruitment support, and employee development for hourly and salaried employees in a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of three HR professionals while ensuring consistent delivery of HR programs and retention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, HR processes, employee records requirements, and wellness programs.
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.
• Support organizational change initiatives through clear communication, stakeholder partnership, and employee advocacy.
• Represent Cascades Tissue Group at corporate and community events.

What you bring

You're a natural fit for Senior HR Manager if you have:

A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience within the industrial sector
• Strong labor relations expertise in a unionized workplace, including grievance management, contract administration, investigations, arbitration preparation, and union partnership
• Experience partnering with plant leadership teams and senior business leaders
• Excellent communication, negotiation, coaching, and relationship-building skills
• The ability to influence and build credibility with employees, leaders, and union representatives at all levels
• Strong analytical skills with experience using HR metrics to support decision-making
• Occasional travel across the United States and Canada may be required
