Job Title: Senior HR Manager

Position Type: Direct Hire

Work Setting: Onsite

We’re seeking a Senior HR Manager to lead and strengthen the HR function in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment in Leetonia, Ohio.

This is a high-impact role for a strategic, people-focused HR professional who thrives on building trust, partnering with leadership, and driving initiatives that support culture, compliance, and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion employee relations by fostering an open-door culture and engaging regularly with employees on the production floor
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on corrective actions, performance management, and employee development
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and address workforce issues requiring high-level attention
  • Lead onboarding processes, safety orientations, and policy reviews while managing 15/45/90-day retention check-ins
  • Manage temporary staffing strategy, track performance and attendance, and support transition to full-time employment
  • Execute HR projects using proven methodologies to meet critical deliverables and deadlines
  • Oversee performance review cycles and compensation events
  • Drive succession planning, identify high-potential employees, and align development efforts with business goals
  • Support benefits administration, wellness programs, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Coordinate employee roundtables, recognition events, and compliance-related activities such as random testing

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Human Resources experience
  • 5+ years in a senior or HR leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Proven experience in manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, especially in OH and PA
  • HR certifications preferred (SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR)
