AlertMedia is looking for a people-centric Senior Human Resources Generalist who has a passion for HR including employee relations, performance management and annual cycles to name a few, and passion for people problem solving. The HR professional will be an onsite HR presence in a hybrid role based in our beautiful downtown Austin headquarters.

You are detail oriented to handle performance management & annual cycles. Since you are a lifelong learner, you are naturally a coach & facilitator, and a born problem solver with a high-level of judgement. You enjoy a “one team one goal” mentality and are willing to jump in and help wherever needed.

This is an amazing opportunity to develop your HR tool kit and be the first point of contact for HR related questions and concerns.

What you get to do every day:

  • Provide HR support to our AlertMedia team in the areas of employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, and compensation.
  • Assist in the implementation, development, and execution of HR related policies, programs, and guidelines
  • Handle employee relations, annual cycles, investigations, and career leveling support
  • Partner with managers on employee relations issues, processes, compliance, and development opportunities
  • Initiate and lead activities that help to increase satisfaction, motivation, engagement, and retention
  • Continuously evaluate current programs, processes, procedures for better or more efficient ways to do things and support changes that benefit the organization
  • Foster and role model an environment of inclusion
  • Support employee issues with discretion and expertise
  • Counsel employees on work-related issues and performance management discussions

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other relevant academic background
  • 4+ years of experience as an HR Generalist (preferably in a fast-growing SaaS or software environment) to include annual cycles, employee relations, employee engagement, career leveling, etc.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues independently and show initiative even in ambiguous circumstances
  • Exceptional people skills with a high-level of empathy
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills to efficiently communicate across all levels in the organization
  • This is a hybrid position (in office 3+ days a week)
