Haydon Holdings, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to lead day-to-day HR operations and back up the Director of Human Resources. This role will partner with managers and employees, administer policies, and ensure legal compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on HR expertise across recruiting, onboarding, performance management, investigations, benefits, and HRIS, with a commitment to integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least five years of progressively responsible HR Generalist experience.
  • Experience managing employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
  • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and benefits.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted HR resource for assigned departments, providing timely guidance to managers and employees.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, workplace investigations, documentation, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Support performance management, coaching, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and employee development.
  • Coordinate full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, interviewing, candidate selection, offers, onboarding, and orientation.
  • Administer HR policies and promote consistent interpretation and application throughout the organization.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Assist with employee leave, workplace accommodations, and return-to-work processes.
  • Support benefits administration and coordinate with benefit vendors.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS information and prepare routine HR reports and metrics.
  • Assist with compensation reviews, market analysis, and annual merit planning.
  • Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
  • Deliver training to employees and supervisors on HR policies, compliance requirements, and workplace expectations.
  • Support audits, regulatory reporting, record retention, and ongoing process improvements.
  • Build productive relationships with leaders and employees while promoting a positive and respectful workplace culture.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to help lead the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources function. This position serves as a key HR resource for managers and employees and acts as the primary backup to the Director of Human Resources.

The Senior HR Generalist will execute HR programs and initiatives, support leaders in resolving employee matters, administer company policies, and help ensure compliance with applicable employment laws. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound judgment, maintains confidentiality, and effectively balances employee advocacy with business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multiple HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and benefits.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting supervisors and managers in a manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site environment.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
