Prince William County’s Office of Human Resources (HR) is seeking a motivated individual for the Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) role. This position reports to the Center of Excellence (COE) HR Manager for Policy and Compliance and is part of the COE team, which promotes best practices, standards, and innovations in labor and employment laws and regulations. The team develops, implements, and enforces compliance-related HR policies, processes, and procedures, providing expertise and guidance to HR professionals and business leaders on compliance matters.
The Office of Human Resources is reimagining its service delivery. The incumbent will serve as a strategic partner, develop and interpret policies, conduct internal investigations, handle grievance processes and collective bargaining, lead reasonable accommodation efforts, monitor compliance with employment laws, and perform other duties as required.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Sr. HRBP with broad knowledge of HR processes, emphasizing policy and compliance. They should be self-motivated, capable of independent judgment, with strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, organizational, time management, and project management skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
The selected candidate’s offer is contingent upon a successful background check, including criminal history, I-9, and E-Verify.
FLSA Exempt – in-office Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, 37.50 hrs/week. Telework eligible, with potential to revert to full-time in-office based on business needs.
$88,875 - $107,000 annually.
