Job summary

Rimkus seeks a highly skilled professional to lead and grow its Forensic Human Factors practice in San Francisco. The role involves managing multi-disciplinary projects, performing field investigations, data collection, and literature review to support complex safety-related analyses.

You will prepare expert reports, testify in depositions and trials, and maintain meticulous billable-hour records while coordinating with clients and colleagues across the firm.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. required in a relevant field as listed plus 5+ years of human factors litigation consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a legal consulting practice.
• Complete site inspections.
• Meet with colleagues, clients, and other professionals to discuss cases or projects.
• Prepare expert reports and affidavits.
• Organize and retrieve case files and exhibits.
• Provide deposition and trial testimony.
• Develop and maintain records of billable hours.
