Job summary
Rimkus, a global engineering and technical consulting firm, seeks a senior Human Factors expert to lead complex litigation–related projects in the US. You will manage multidisciplinary studies, conduct field investigations, and prepare expert reports and affidavits for deposition and trial.
The ideal candidate holds a PhD in a relevant field, has 5+ years of human factors litigation experience, is eligible to work in the United States, and may hold BCPE certification or a professional
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in a relevant field required.
- 5+ years of work experience in human factors litigation consulting.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- BCPE board certification and/or Professional Engineer license preferred.
- Experience with perception-response time, nighttime visibility, driver detection distances, and ADAS preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow a legal consulting practice.
- Complete site inspections.
- Meet with colleagues, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.
- Prepare expert reports and affidavits.
- Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files and exhibits.
- Provide deposition and trial testimony.
- Develop and maintain records of billable hours spent on cases.
