Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a PhD-level expert to lead and grow its Forensic Human Factors practice in the United States.

The role involves managing diverse consulting projects, conducting field investigations and testing, and researching technical data to support safety and performance evaluations. The position requires extensive experience in human factors litigation consulting, the ability to testify in depositions and trials, and the capacity to interact with clients and

Qualifications

• Understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have excellent client relations and management skills.
• Must be knowledgeable about Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a legal consulting practice.
• Complete site inspections.
• Meet with colleagues, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.
• Prepare expert reports and affidavits.
• Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items.
• Provide deposition and trial testimony.
• Develop and maintain records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases.
