Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in HSEQ roles.
• In‑depth knowledge of HSEQ management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Proven experience in risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits.
• Strong understanding of South African HSEQ legislation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in Queenstown, ZA.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the HSEQ management system.
• Conduct regular HSEQ audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, performing root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with national and international HSEQ standards.
• Develop and deliver HSEQ training programs to employees and contractors.
• Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
• Prepare HSEQ reports for management and regulators.
• Advise management on HSEQ matters and contribute to strategic planning.
• Manage emergency preparedness and response plans.
• Liaise with external HSEQ bodies and auditors.
