Nordex North America is seeking an HSE Specialist to implement health, safety, environmental programs at a designated Iowa site. You will work with Production, Engineering, Quality to prevent injuries and ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

You will lead HSE initiatives, conduct training, analyze incidents, and drive continuous improvements while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external regulators.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HSE in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical degree, HSE degree or other university qualifications (preferred).
• OSHA or other relevant certification (preferred).
• Strong HSE engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to train and coach Manufacturing employees.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP familiarity is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish desirable.

Responsabilités

• Lead and monitor implementation of health, safety, occupational and environmental programs to prevent injuries and illnesses for a specific location.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements related to environmental and occupational health and safety; identify areas for improvement at the local site.
• Execute an environmental and occupational health and safety training plan with P&C.
• Develop and manage an environmental and employee health & safety training plan.
• Participate in projects related to continuous improvement in HSE.
• Perform analyses of HSE incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with community groups and environmental organizations impacted by performance.
