Job summary

Nox Group in the US is seeking an HSE Superintendent to join our growing team. This role focuses on implementing HSE management systems, guiding project safety, and ensuring compliance with policy.

The ideal candidate has construction HSE experience, leadership ability, and a track record in safety training, incident investigations, and reporting. Extensive OSHA knowledge and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of construction HSE experience preferred or a degree in OHS related field.
• Prefer at least one year in a supervisory role, and craft/work activities experience.
• Capable of HSE management for small to midsize projects (≤250 employees).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and policy compliance.
• Ability to manage HSE teams of three or fewer and foster safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of HSE management systems for project needs.
• Provide technical guidance to the assigned project.
• Assist in risk planning, recognition, evaluation, and mediation.
• Lead HSE training and ensure internal tracking.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations and reporting.
• Communicate project HSE status to management.
• Manage injury and workers’ comp cases and reporting.
• Provide supervision direction to subordinates.
