Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking an HSE Site Manager to apply extensive health, safety and environmental expertise on project sites and offices. You will ensure compliance with client and Fluor HSE standards while leading program development, risk assessment and incident prevention across mid-size projects.

The role requires a four-year degree and several years of related experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and three (3) years* of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to seven (7) years* if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job site related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of Company HSE standards and goals by applying HSE procedures on a project site or in an office
• Confirm project site adheres to HSE standards and guidelines
• Conduct onsite risk assessment and mitigation
• Promote HSE standards and goals with programs across the Company
• Create, administer and monitor HSE programs involving all levels of employees on the project
• Monitor HSE programs and prepare summaries/reports for management
