Job summary

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent with eight years of work-related experience, or a combination equaling twelve years if non-degreed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including management, coworkers, clients and stakeholders.
• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious, efficient work.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train subordinates on HSE activities for TIC large-scale projects; include budgets, staffing, and scheduling.
• Provide guidance on HSE practices and regulatory requirements to business lines and project management.
• Make independent decisions on engineering/scientific problems related to HSE using advanced techniques.
• Develop, customize, and supervise HSE programs across projects including site-based orientation and recognition programs.
• Conduct gap analyses between company practices, client requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Initiate and maintain HSE standards to promote safety across projects.
• Adhere to Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
