Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead all Health, Safety, and Environmental functions at the Richmond site. The role reports to site leadership and collaborates with corporate teams in France and regional offices, ensuring OSHA and EPA compliance and strong safety performance.

Responsibilities include managing PSM, IMS, incident investigations, and environmental permits, while fostering a proactive safety culture and coaching a HSE Specialist.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as an HSE professional.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong relationship builder with regulators, sites, and leadership.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and experience with state/local agencies.

Responsibilities

• Chair PSM committee and coordinate actions to maintain compliance.
• Oversee the Management of Change (MOC) process for non-quality matters.
• Coordinate PHA revalidations and track actions.
• Investigate incidents using root cause analysis and drive CAPA.
• Maintain Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and coordinate with local responders.
• Act as IMS site owner to ensure compliance with corporate framework.
