Job summary

Seneca Resources seeks an experienced Project Safety/EHS Manager to lead onsite safety operations for large-scale data center construction projects. You will ensure regulatory compliance, prevent incidents, and build a strong safety culture across project sites.

Initial training occurs at Plano, TX, followed by full-time onsite work in Abilene, TX, with travel to data center sites nationwide. The role demands 8+ years of EHS leadership, OSHA knowledge, and the ability to develop and implement

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) leadership experience in the construction industry.
• OSHA 30-hour training is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, or a BCSP certification such as CSP/ASP/CHST/OHST.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Hands-on experience with construction site inspections, incident investigations, root cause analysis, hazard mitigation, contractor safety, and safety training.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising safety personnel.
• Strong communication, leadership, coaching, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and digital EHS reporting systems.
• Ability and willingness to work onsite full-time in Abilene, TX, after initial training in Plano, TX.
• Willingness to travel nationwide up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Construction Safety Leadership: lead daily EHS operations at the project site ensuring compliance with policies, client requirements, and OSHA regulations.
• Team Leadership and Training: supervise and develop EHS specialists; deliver safety orientations and training.
• Incident Investigation and Risk Management: lead investigations, perform RCA, implement corrective actions.
• EHS Compliance and Reporting: ensure regulatory compliance; maintain documentation and reports; improve procedures.
• National Project Support: support data center construction across the United States; travel to sites as needed.
