Albemarle Netherlands BV is hiring a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager for the Silver Peak Site Lithium Mine in Nevada. You will ensure compliance with safety regulations, lead the HSE program, and manage a small team overseeing training and improvement projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, petroleum industry, or mining safety program management.
• Experience in developing, implementing, and continuously improving safety systems.
• Competency in both OSHA and MSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with government safety and environmental regulations.
• Lead the HSE program as part of the site’s Leadership Team.
• Oversee safety auditing and management engagement across the site.

Skills

Experience in safety compliance auditing

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Training experience
