Worley in Long Beach, CA, seeks an HSE Manager II to lead health, safety, and environmental programs across large EPC projects. This executive role partners with project managers, construction leadership, and contractors to drive a proactive safety culture and sustainable project delivery.

You will shape HSE strategy, develop plans, lead investigations, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor teams, with a focus on risk reduction and operational excellence.

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years of progressive HSE leadership experience on major EPC, EPCM, industrial, energy, chemicals, resources, infrastructure, or construction projects.
• Significant experience leading HSE programs on large-scale projects within an EPC contractor environment.
• Extensive knowledge of HSE management systems, regulatory compliance, auditing, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and project teams regarding HSE strategy and risk management.

Aufgaben

• Providing strategic leadership for Health, Safety, and Environmental activities across projects.
• Developing and maintaining project-specific HSE plans, programs, and procedures.
• Serving as primary HSE advisor to project managers and leadership teams.
• Leading HSE execution across major EPC construction projects.
• Driving a proactive safety culture with hazard recognition and risk mitigation.
• Supporting identification and elimination of hazards to prevent injuries and incidents.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable HSE regulations, standards, and customer requirements.
• Leading HSE planning during development, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Managing HSE personnel and providing leadership, mentoring, and development.
• Conducting HSE performance reviews and driving improvement plans.
• Overseeing incident investigations and corrective action programs.
• Monitoring HSE metrics and leading indicators and reporting.
• Supporting contractor qualification and compliance programs.
• Conducting field audits, safety observations, and assurance activities.
• Collaborating with construction teams to ensure safe project execution.
