Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction experience.
• 3 years of on-site safety experience.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction certification.
• Certified safety professional qualifications CSP/ASP/CHST/OHST/IOSH/STS-C or higher in EHS.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED training completed.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and hazard control methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct field safety orientation training.
• Daily inspection of machinery, equipment, and working conditions.
• Ensure use of prescribed safety equipment.
• Inspect fire-prevention equipment and first-aid supplies.
• Test work areas for hazards (noise, toxic, etc.).
• Prepare daily safety reports with corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents to determine root causes.
• Assist in developing SHMP and PSSP; conduct weekly safety meetings.
• Demonstrate equipment use and conduct safety training.
