Job summary

Fluor is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental professional to maintain knowledge of HSE standards and ensure site compliance. You will conduct audits, inspections, and investigations to monitor HSE programs and environmental data.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work across management, coworkers, vendors, and contractors to foster a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in applicable field and 3 years of related experience or 7 years total with no degree.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work habits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company HSE standards, programs and goals and apply them.
• Ensure project site adheres to company and regulatory HSE standards and guidelines.
• Promote HSE standards and goals across programs to ensure safe, productive environments.
• Conduct surveys, audits, evaluations, inspections, and investigations to monitor HSE standards and collect environmental data.
• Adhere to Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
