Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree and eight years of related experience, or twelve years if no degree.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including management, coworkers, clients and stakeholders.
• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable statutes and regulations.
• Attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train subordinates on HSE activities on TIC large-scale projects; duties include budgeting, staffing, and certification programs.
• Provide guidance to business lines, project management, and company organizations on HSE practices and regulatory requirements.
• Make independent engineering/scientific decisions related to HSE using advanced techniques and practices.
• Develop, customize, and supervise HSE programs for all levels of project staff to balance productivity with safety.
• Run gap analyses to ensure conformance with company, client and regulatory requirements.
• Initiate and maintain HSE standards and goals across company and project sites.
• Adhere to Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
