Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior HSE Manager to lead the Health, Safety, and Environmental strategy for a multi-billion-dollar industrial construction project.

You will oversee HSE governance, contractor performance, audits, and incident investigations to promote a zero-incidents culture across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup phases. Required are a Bachelor’s degree in a safety-related field, 15+ years of HSE experience, and strong leadership along with experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental science, or related discipline required.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive HSE experience with large industrial capital projects.
• Experience with EPC, EPCM and construction management delivery models.
• Leadership or management experience (3+ years) required.
• Certifications (preferred): CSP, CHST, CIH, NEBOSH, OSHA 30/500, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE strategy, governance, and assurance for the project.
• Oversee EPC/EPCM contractor HSE programs and site safety.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and field reviews.
• Drive life-saving rules and critical risk controls.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Develop emergency plans and drills; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop HSE dashboards and report to leadership.
• Support commissioning and startup safety integration.
