Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Specialist to implement HSE policies and ensure regulatory compliance. You will lead incident investigations, inspections, and ensure alignment with client and Army regulations while upholding KBR standards.

You will engage with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to interpret standards and contribute to HSE data collection and analysis. Outdoor work and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Advanced certification as safety specialist/practitioner from a recognized body.
• Deep knowledge of AR 385-10 and OSHA CFRs (29 CFR 1904, 1910, 1926).
• Strong problem-solving and process-improvement skills.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• English fluent (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to achieve HSE initiative objectives and manage risk processes.
• Lead/participate incident investigations and reporting.
• Develop and maintain HSE reporting requirements for the business.
• Interpret standards, codes, and regulations for stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver HSE training and safety culture programs.
• Track KPIs for locations and management; audit with corrective actions.
