Job summary

KBR is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety, and Environmental strategy, governance, and assurance for a major industrial construction program. You will oversee EPC/EPCM contractor HSE performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a culture of zero incidents across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup phases.

The role requires strong leadership in risk management, incident investigations, environmental stewardship, and field assurance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental science, engineering, industrial hygiene, construction management or related discipline.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE strategy, governance, and assurance program for a multi-billion-dollar industrial project.
• Oversee contractor HSE performance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project standards.
• Develop and implement Life-Saving Rules and Critical Risk Controls across the project.
• Perform incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and track corrective actions to closure.
• Provide safety leadership and promote a culture of zero incidents across the project.
