Job summary

Vanguard Renewables in Weston, MA, is seeking a Senior Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to ensure nationwide compliance with Corporate HSE Standards across assets and operations. You will lead a geographically distributed team and collaborate with clients, partners, executives, and site personnel.

The ideal candidate brings expert knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1904, 1910, 1926) and OSHA PSM, providing technical guidance while developing talent.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in oil, gas, chemicals, or related industries.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Occupational Health and Safety.
• Professional certifications (ASP, CSP, SMS) preferred.
• Strong leadership and influencing abilities across dispersed teams.
• Proficiency in HSE management systems, risk assessments, and audits.
• Expert knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 and 1926; OSHA PSM understanding.

Responsibilities

• Foster a sustainable HSE culture at field/remote sites.
• Provide HSE guidance to all levels and contractors; SME for Corporate HSE and PSM.
• Lead incident response, investigation, and RCA as needed.
• Support emergency response and crisis management with stakeholders.
• Execute audits and KPI reporting on safety, process safety, and environment.
• Monitor contractor HSE performance and manage qualification/audits.
