Job summary

Honeywell International, Inc. is seeking a Sr HSE Engineer to develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs ensuring regulatory compliance and industry best practices. The role emphasizes fostering a safety culture and safeguarding employees, customers, and the environment.

Your expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance will help mitigate hazards and support a sustainable organization. Occasional travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in engineering (electrical, chemical, mechanical, environmental, etc.).
• 6+ years of working experience in health, safety, and environmental field.
• 1+ years coordinating internal audits and implementing HSE management systems.
• Up to 50% travel to customer sites and projects in the US.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with corporate requirements, local legislation, and procedures.
• Conduct thorough incident investigations and identify root causes with corrective actions.
• Represent HPS within jurisdiction and cooperate with regional HSE structures.
• Maintain/improve country HSE management system performance and maturity.
• Influence site leaders and regional HSE to meet goals and standard work.
• Identify actions to certify/maintain ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.
• Foster a safety culture and enhance knowledge and attitudes of employees and subcontractors.
• Audit facilities for compliance and maintain risk management plans.
• Manage project safety audits for compliance and contractor qualifications.
