Job summary

CBRE seeks an HSE professional to help develop procedures and operational guidance within the Health, Safety and Environmental program. This onsite role covers locations within a 20-30 mile radius of the Bay Area, with four days on site per week.

The position emphasizes documentation, training content, risk assessments and regulatory cooperation. You will create SOPs, checklists, and environmental health and safety materials, conduct basic hygiene testing, and maintain data tracking systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum four years of HSE related experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of federal, state and local health, safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop documentation related to EHS programs for implementation locally and globally.
• Develop content and delivery methods of hands-on and online training.
• Conduct and document comprehensive risk assessments.
• Develop EHS checklists, guidelines and SOPs.
• Conduct basic industrial hygiene testing of lab and work spaces.
• Maintain data tracking and record-keeping system.
• Administer spreadsheets for incident and injury data.
• Conduct site safety walkthroughs and lab inspections.
• Interact with regulatory agencies and inspectors.
• Assist with building closure documentation for regulatory requirements.
