Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an HSE professional to help develop procedures and operational guidance for the Health, Safety and Environmental program. This onsite role covers the Bay Area within a 20-30 mile radius, three to four days per week.

The position involves creating EHS documentation, delivering hands-on and online training, conducting risk assessments, and developing SOPs and checklists to ensure regulatory compliance across local and global operations.

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to assist in the development of procedures and operational guidance within the HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) program.

This is an onsite position three to four days per week covering locations within a 20-30 mile radius within the Bay Area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop documentation related to EHS programs for implementation both locally and globally.
• Develop or design content, and delivery methods of hands-on and online training.
• Conduct and document comprehensive risk assessments.
• Develop EHS checklists, guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct basic industrial hygiene testing of lab and work spaces.
• Develop and/or maintain a data tracking process and record keeping system.
• Administration and maintenance of spreadsheets utilized to house data from incident and injury reports.
• Conduct site safety walkthroughs and lab inspections.
• Interact with regulatory agencies and inspectors.
• Conduct building closure documentation support for regulatory requirements

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.

May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers.

May coordinate work and assign tasks.
