Job summary

Ledcor is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to mentor and direct the Region’s HS&E professionals within a fast-paced industrial construction setting. You will report to the Director of HS&E and help cultivate a strong safety culture across operations.

You will lead an HS&E management team, align objectives with operations, and drive continuous improvement through audits, investigations, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial Health and Safety management.
• 5+ years in industrial construction/telecom with Health & Safety experience.
• Technical proficiency including MS Office and presentations skills.
• Degree in OH&S or related discipline; pursuing/holding NCSO/CRSP designation

• Lead HS&E management team to achieve industry leading HS&E performance.
• Mentor HS&E employees on performance and professional development.
• Build an environment that supports cooperation within HS&E and operations.
• Participate in recruitment, selection, and evaluation of HS&E personnel.
• Develop and verify effective implementation of HS&E programs.
• Align HS&E objectives with operational objectives and guidance.
• Analyze leading/lagging indicators and drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct site visits, inspections and verification audits.
• Participate in complex incident investigations.
