Job summary

Brown University is seeking a Senior HRPP Administrator to lead the administration and implementation of the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) and IRB policies across Brown University, Lifespan, and Care New England.

This role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, supports IRB committee meetings, prepares meeting agendas and minutes, and advises on applicable review criteria. A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and institutional policies is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• In-depth understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to human subjects research, including FDA regulations.
• Experience in academic or clinical research settings.
• CIP certification or willingness/ability to obtain CIP within two years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration and implementation of HRPP and IRB policies for Brown University, Lifespan, and Care New England.
• Support IRB Committee meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and advise on review criteria.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and institutional policies governing human subjects research.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to ensure compliant research conduct.
